4C Core Training
Learn the basics about the 4C System an internationally recognised sustainability standard and certification for the coffee and cocoa sector. The 4C Code of Conduct, which is the result of a comprehensive and transparent multi-stakeholder process, emphasises the social, economic and environmental sustainability making this training relevant for Certification Bodies interested in coffee and/or cocoa certification.
This training will enable you to understand the 4C Certification System and its procedures and is therefore relevant to all 4C System users.
The 4C core training provides essential information for successfully implementing sustainability requirements, mastering audit procedures, and understanding the certification process.
Recently, 4C has added a Knowledge Base to its 4C Portal. This tool aims to support the training process and allows 4C Portal users to have at your disposal 365 days a year. The modules include relevant information about the certification processes and operation of the 4C certification system and are available here.

Only applicable for more than one participant from the same company in the same training. For the certification bodies, this applies to auditors under the same contract with 4C Services GmbH.

Cancellation policy
Until the 31st day before the first day of training: free of charge
Between the 30th and 21st day before the first day of training: 20% of the total amount of the invoice
Between the 20th and 11th day before the first day of training: 50% of the total amount of the invoice
Between the 10th and the 1st day of training: 100% of the total amount of the invoice
Terms of Payment
The training fees are to be paid at the latest 30 days after receipt of the invoice and prior to the training. Payment of the training fee can be done by bank transfer (please use the banking details indicated on the invoice).
General notes:
- Attestation of participation can only be issued for participants who attended to the end and also actively participated in the group work sessions.
- To enable successful participation in 4C Online Trainings, participants need a computer/laptop and a stable Internet connection.
