As the demand for sustainable cocoa continues to grow, so does the need for qualified auditors to ensure compliance with rigorous standards. 4C is proud to expand its scope to include cocoa certification and is offering its first-ever training for Certification Bodies. This training is complementary to the 4C Core Training, which provides foundational knowledge about the 4C system.
The 4C Code of Conduct is an independent, stakeholder-driven, internationally recognized sustainability standard for the entire coffee sector. Developed collaboratively by stakeholders, it provides guidelines for sustainable practices in the coffee sector. The 4C Cocoa Certification training will build upon this foundation, providing specific knowledge and skills required for auditing cocoa production.
By understanding the 4C Certification System, participants can effectively apply sustainability requirements, conduct audits and assess environmental risks, now also in cocoa production.
